How I Found Healing Through Self-Love and Becoming An Independent Woman

I was stuck in a rut, not moving forward, and feeling like a complete failure. I desperately wanted happiness in my life, but I was unsure of just how to get where I wanted to go. I wanted things to get better, but it seemed like no matter what I did, I was unsuccessful.


I didn't think I was good enough, or worthy enough. I didn't think I deserved to have a better life. I tried to please others, even if that meant I neglected myself.
Deep down inside, I felt horrible about myself, and I put myself down.

I told myself things like:
"I am never going to be able to pull myself together and get out of this mess."
"I am unlovable, so why should I try to love myself?"
"I must not deserve to be happy or have anything better than this."
"I am failing at life, and as a mother."

I was at rock bottom. I was empty, depressed, and lonely.
I felt like no one understood what I was going through. I felt like no one cared. I withdrew from almost everyone in my life. I felt completely defeated.
